He is SO PRECIOUS!

He's a dog...

but I just had no idea we'd love a dog as much as we love Baxter!

 THIS is so so typical!

Baxter loves nothing more than a tennis ball!

We can be doing...whatever...and he'll bring a tennis ball in and drop it close to our feet..

It's a not-so-subtle-hint that he really really wants to play!

 It's hard to say no.

My day with Walt

After playing with Adie and Faith, Walt and I took off for the park.

Actually, that's NOT what we initially took off for.  I just thought we were going for a walk/tricycle ride...but he led me to the park!

 Walt parked his tricycle and took off to play!

 I have a picture that I've always LOVED of Emerson at about this age...

so I was hoping to also get one of Walt...

well...

 he didnt' really want to be still enough for me to get my camera ready!

 Next was the swing...

 but he didn't stay in it too long...

 He hopped on this and just had a grand ole time!

 After we'd been home awhile, his mama and daddy got home...

and Walt and his mama sat out in the garden for awhile...

That's actually where they were when I took off to head home.

Emerson was gone a lot of the time...which I loved that he enjoyed spending the night and some time with his buddy...

but Walt and I just had a great time together!

Walt and Adie

 Walt and Adie are neighbors...

 I can't remember which one is the oldest,

but they're basically the same age.

 Adie likes Walt's cars and trucks

and Walt likes Adie's stroller!

 They are PRECIOUS together!

At one point, Adie came looking for her stroller...

and another time, Walt was upset because Adie took his 'bike' (his tricycle)

I love it all!

and this trip, she ventured on the roof!

 Emily and Gabe were getting ready to leave...

heading to the mud baths....

and more relaxing...without any kiddos!

 Walt didn't seem to mind that his parents were leaving...

 His mama was giving him plenty of kisses and hugs...

and they had a great time!

I know I had a great time with my little man!

Emerson went to spend the weekend with a buddy...

so it was Walt and Mimi...

and it was wonderful!
