Holding William

I really wanted to get a picture of my three grandsons together...a good picture of all three of them...together.

They weren't totally cooperative.  We first tried to get Benjamin to hold his brother...you can't see their mama lurking about 2 centimeters away.  Benjamin has been...well, less than gentle, so we were being careful.  As you may notice, this arrangement isn't working too well.  So I asked Emerson if he wanted to hold his baby cousin.  Well, as you can tell, Emerson is doing a quick escape!
William went to his sweet mama, and Benjamin wanted to take the picture.
I took a picture of him instead!
I do believe Benjamin took this...
Since I wasn't getting one of all three, I decided to go ahead and take them in multiple shots, not that I don't usually do that!
William wasn't sure what all the fuss was about...

I decided to get a picture of Papa holding William.  THIS was a common scene...
Papa holding his youngest grandson, who loves being nestled in his Papa's arm...
I never succeeded in getting a great picture of my three boys...
But I certainly enjoyed trying! At least they were all 3 here at the same time... If Thalia had been here, it would have been easy. I know she would have held William and the boys would have been right there beside her. Ummm? When will I have them all 4 together?

Riding airplanes to the park

The rain stopped...and we decided to head on down to the park.  My little men rode their airplanes.
William was content to ride along in the BOB, being pushed by his sweet mama!

The boys rode around the park for awhile...
William also rode around the park awhile..

Emerson decided it was time to park the airplane and hit the slides...
Benjamin thought about it for a minute or two...
then went and joined his cousin on the slide...
They 'drove the car'....

and posed for their Mimi...

They played on and under some of the equipment...

and even Linz decided to play awhile...

The airplanes parked while the boys played...

sliding together!

William really wanted to play...his mama told him he was a bit too little..
The boys decided to go back to their airplanes...

It was getting time for naps...

time to head back to Mimi and Papa's...
It was a fun day at the park...riding airplanes, playing on the equipment, and sliding!  A perfect day for a couple three little boys!  (and their mama and Mimi)
