The infamous UJ when he was just a little man... being held by our Dad...who we still miss so much....The now-called-UJ was already a stud in our Dad's eyes...
I suppose I thought he was a little-man-stud...well, Ok, I probably didn't...but he was a little cutie!
He played on the St. John's baseball team. Can you spot him? Try to guess...I'll put the answer at the bottom of this post...
Now he was definitely a stud on the skating rink! He and Lisa 'tore it up' with their couples skating...and figure skating...
UJ the stud had the Justin Bieber look before any little teeny-boppers had even heard of it...shoot, he had it before they were even born!
How about that bow-tie? Name that SF Giant who likes to wear bow-ties....
Here c0mes Joshua...UJ finally had the official title of 'Uncle'...
He was always teaching his nephews the finer points in life, as has been noted on the JohnstonChronicles before...
His profile here kind of looks like David...well, he IS David....John David...but I'm talking about the 9' David that stands in Italy...you know, the famous David...our UJ is infamous!
This was made in April of 1980...only a couple of months before we lost our Dad...
Lindsey came into our world, and now UJ had a niece...
Of course, he was certainly the stud to Miss Rebecca...who became his sweetheart wife!
They have always been a rather sophisticated pair! Of course, still teaching his niece and nephews the finer points in life...
This...well, never mind...
As a father, he failed to teach his own children all these 'finer' points...and didn't really want us to teach them the same things he had taught my kids! 
As you can see, my children learned well...
For his birthdays, UJ would enjoy his birthday cakes...um? Guess he's now had 51 of these birthday cakes...
which is why his dear nephew, Joshua, periodically would check his UJ's weight...just trying to keep him healthy!
I've always been his favorite sister...
and he's now been married for...well, not sure...probably about 26 years???
Change happens...and their life took a turn...well, actually they headed north...to the Rocky Mountains...to Colorado...
They bought some new toys...(not really!)
and opened a restaurant! Here they are...with our Mom...the infamous Saddie...at the grand opening!We're all proud of him...for all the things he's accomplished...for the great uncle he's always been (and now he's truly a great-uncle to Thalia, Emerson, and Benjamin!)...but mainly for just being an incredible man!
Happy 51st birthday, again! You're definitely worth two birthday posts on the JohnstonChronicles!
(BTW...UJ is the first adorable little man, top row, left side...)

HAPPY BDAY UJ!! Congratulations on the blockbuster Chick-fil-A opening and thanks for being such a great Uncle! Man it is great to see such a STUD in his element! I don't know who this imposter they call Bieber is but I think there is a movement afoot for the "UJ", best described as a combo of supreme wrap around hair good looks, physical fitness and a heart of gold.
