At 19 months old, the boys were playmates...
In their matching pajamas, they loved running in the upstairs hall...where they could look down on the entry way below...and of course...
the airplanes (from Santa) were upstairs...
My three grandchildren!!!
They explored... in the bathroom...
and in the kitchen...
Many kefir smoothies were made...
Emerson wanted to clarify what 'kefir' was before he drank any...
His cousin, Benjamin, whispered to him that even though it was super healthy, it was really, really good!
Their most favorite toys were probably the magnets...the refrigerator magnets...
A different day...but back to the refrigerator to play with the magnets...
Oops...from this photo, you can probably understand why I eventually took all the photos, drawings, and papers off the bottom half...
They discussed the different magnets...
telling each other which was their favorites...
They explored and played with the fan...
Emerson wanted to peek inside Mimi and Papa's room to see if Santa had left anything else in there...
Benjamin stayed by the fan...
The stairs were another huge source of fun...up and down...up and down...up and down...
We weren't too worried about the 'up'...it was the 'down' part that scared me...
It was certainly fun to look through the slats...
"Hi, Cutie!"
Different day...same fun on the stairs. The boys would sit and talk about what they were going to do next...
"Let's go up again!!!" Emerson told Benjamin.
Back up the stairs they went...
Grammy was up there watching...
