Walt comes home!

 September 27th started with kisses for Walt from his big brother!

 Emerson and his Dad checked out the fantasy football stats.

 Papa got to hold his newest grandson...

 Big bro Emerson held his little brother...

 When it was time to go, Walt's daddy was getting him dressed for the ride.

September 26, 2015 with Walt!

 September 26, the day after Walt was born...

Emerson, Ron, and I were slow getting started at home...

seeing as we had come home after 2 a.m.

When we got there, Emerson was happy to see his mom

and his dad

and his little baby brother!

 We were there for his bath...

 which he wasn't too sure about...

 He was all clean, warm, and snuggly after that.

 and, of course, absolutely precious!

It's so fun being in love with a new little life!

 Tony, Andrea, and Natalie came to visit.

(Andrea is Emily's cousin)

We left not too long after this so Emily and Gabe could sleep awhile..

and I left my camera there...

Emerson, Ron, and I went out to eat, did a little shopping,

and then came home and played the rest of the day.

It was a perfect September 26th!

Blessed, thankful, excited...

seriously, he did deliver his newest little son!

 Emerson wasn't too sure at first about this little brother who had entered his life...

 Our little man had a bit of fluid in his lungs when he was born...

he didn't cry much when he was born..

he needed to cry to clear the fluid...

 One of the nurses took off his diaper,

she thumped his foot..

trying to get him to cry...

 he whimpered...

 then he cried!

 He's got a sweet little cry!

Emerson was getting tired...it was after 1 a.m.!

He and his Papa were telling stories...

 Seeing as it was almost 2 a.m., Emerson kissed his mama good-night..

 and then fell asleep in his daddy's arms before we got out the door...

Emily and Gabe both had a bracelet..

If Walt gets too far from them, an alarm would go off!

This was Walt's birthday!

What an incredible day...
