Playing in the backyard on June 18

June 18 was Father's Day...
and we had 3 father's here to celebrate.
Ron and Donnie had built a Corn Hole game.
I made the bean bags to play it with.
The day before, the boys and I were playing outside and I had suggested we make something with all our wood scraps..
they weren't interested at all.
Then I thought of the Corn Hole game...
and decided I'd make it, I just asked Ron to cut the wood.
To show him exactly what I wanted, I found a YouTube video on making one,
and Ron took off and made a great one from that.
Donnie helped him complete it.
As you can see, Walt loved the bean bags...
and he had fun dropping them in the hole.
Walt was also enjoying Baxter!

He wanted to give Baxter a treat...
The other boys got involved in the new game...
Donnie and I were playing with Benjamin and Emerson...

William was playing...sometimes.

Emily came to cheer watch...

Stance is however you want to stand when you throw!
Baxter, being very black, avoided the sun and found the shade...
and probably wanted to avoid being hit by flying bean bags!

Like I said, Walt liked to put the bean bags in the hole...
he's got the right idea!

The boys took a "Minecraft" break...

Then we resumed play...

Gabe knew he couldn't play with that mini-basketball...
Emily couldn't play Corn Hole with that little soccer ball, either.
Lindsey and Donnie came back out to play...

Look at that concentration!

I'm going to paint the boards...
I love that we have this game now!

Thanks Ron and Donnie!
