Yesterday, the guys went to see the USS Hornet! They visited the hanger deck...
This is a Vietnam helicopter...the UH-34D...

You were able to look inside the capsule...
You can see where the astronauts sat... although the configuration might not have been accurate...
Benjamin pointed out to the other two kids, the Apollo guidance computer, the first digital computer ever! (He seriously told them this!)
Benjamin took some pictures of SH-2 Seasprite...

The USS Hornet is the aircraft carrier that came out to pick up Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins, when they returned from the moon. (Benjamin told me how to say this!...honestly!)
