February 20th at Lindsey's

I love this picture!
On February 20th, Lindsey, the boys and I took off and walked over 3 miles to the park and back.  Well, Benjamin didn't exactly walk, he rode his Skuut...a balance bike.  William didn't exactly walk either.  Lindsey pushed him in his stroller.  But Lindsey and I DID walk.  It was a beautiful day!
We were getting everything together to go...shoes on...the boys discussing how excited they were to head to the park...
Our almost-one-year-old was settled in his stroller...
 and off we went...

It's a beautiful park around a small lake...

This is one of several play areas.  Benjamin especially loved the slide in the center...it's completely covered.  He noticed a lot of kids 'scream in the slide'...so he decided he would scream in it, too!
 Chasing birds wasn't successful...
Benjamin loves my new iPhone...and loves to take pictures...and delete pictures.
I told him if he'd give me a kiss, I'd let him take some photos.
He'll take one, look at it, and if he decides it's blurry, he'll tell me, "This one's not good.  It's blurry...I better get rid of it."  He likes to watch the trash can lid open and the picture go into it.

We sat on the bench awhile...
 watching the ducks...
 taking pictures...

just talking...
I grabbed the camera for awhile...
while Benjamin and his mama sat down and visited awhile...

I look at this and wonder....what were they talking about?
We then headed over to the dock...

Here's the first photo on this blog...but edited with a 'seventies' look...which I love!

 Benjamin and William

Lindsey was holding her smallest little man...as he was getting a bit antsy with having to stay in his stroller.  We had taken him out...you saw him crawling around on the dock ... which was fine, UNTIL we started to put him back in.

I love this picture of Linz and her boys.  It reminds me of an older picture...a mama on the prairie kind of picture.  It's because of the 'seventies' editing process, I think...

Then it was time to take off...and head back home.

Definitely a fun day at the park!

Looks like fun. Is that a new kind of bike? The boys are growing so fast and I love Lindsedy's hat. Love you, Mom
