We had some of the hottest days this summer.
The thermometer actually registered 96 degrees one day at the airport.
Unheard of...
You may have noticed that Baxter is rather black...
and hairy...
Well, black + hairy + heat = love of water
Well, maybe not always, but Baxter LOVES the water...
The sun was ORANGE...very orange...dark orange..
This was because of fires...California is on fire...
and there are quite a few close enough to us that we've had lots of smoke..
smoke enough to make the sun look orange.
This picture really doesn't show it, but it was really beautiful...
even though the reason for it was anything but beautiful.
Baxter still had enough energy to play...
His frisbee is still his very favorite toy,
but the tennis ball is a close 2nd!
