While MetroMan and I were in Washington DC, the hardwood floor was finished. Well, all except for the baseboards which MetroMan and Pete are going to finish.

Oops, this isn't the floor! It's none other than one of our granddogs... Biscuit. She came to visit this weekend, along with Gabe and Emily.
We all enjoyed hanging out in the new room. You can see Emily's feet over by the wood stove... my daughter-in-law stayed nice and cozy and warm!

Nice and Cosy and Warm it was! The house looks even better in person... it felt like it was always supposed to be like that. It is really nice... We had a great time and are looking forward to spending much more time there with everyone.
