A journey to the ocean

Yesterday's forecast said 'patchy morning fog with lots of sun for the afternoon.' Well, I kept looking for blue sky, but never saw it.

We went to the ocean anyway.Oops...we had to cross this little river to get to the beach... as you can probably tell, the photographer has already crossed over - without her shoes on. It was a bit...well, COLD.Thalia braved the cold, took off her shoes, and shivered her way across. Actually, she said it wasn't too cold, and once your feet were already frozen, it really didn't feel very cold. As you can see, Erica is trying to figure out an alternate way to get across.

Just so you know, she just jumped across IN HER SHOES...which happened to get a bit ... soaked. Thalia and I in our bare feet... she drew the heart. Oh, how I love having them here!

There wasn't any other humans at the beach when we got there...but we weren't alone. We had the company of many seals...
and of course, Blu...who absolutely LOVED the water... it was so much fun to watch her.A fun day at the beach, even if it we never saw the sun!
