Looking for agates

Another absolutely gorgeous place on the planet....After climbing around on Wedding Rock, we climbed down, down, down to this beach. The beach area is all rocks...and people sit - sometimes for hours - looking for agates. That's what we did.

In this photo below, Erica was trying to decide if she had found an agate - or if it was just a rock.
Joshua was searching...and searching...
Ah ha! Thalia found a crab shell! ... but no agate.

Erica finally felt a bit defeated in the 'agate-finder' category... so she rested with her camera. Joshua persevered in his agate quest.This blogger relaxed...
Unfortunately, Blu didn't get to accompany us on the agate-finding-quest.
After a long day in the sun and next to the Pacific... Thalia was exhausted...and hungry. She dozed off as we drove to Joshua's favorite sandwich shop...
At one point as we were cruising ... 'cruising' is the key word here...not moseying, or sauntering, but cruising... Joshua, the backseat driver uttered these words: "Hey Jutze, are you going 50 mph?" Now that was said in a... well, derogatory voice. I answered him by taking this photo and showing him the camera:
