I loved this time!
Gabe had come home for lunch en route to a meeting south of their home.
I just decided to take a few pictures!
This was August 16th...and the next day was Emerson's first day of 2nd grade.
His daddy gave him a haircut...and he was showing me...
Earlier, we had gone to target to get some school supplies...
and a pack of baseball cards, of course!
Emerson was so excited about starting school...
but finally, he fell asleep.
It's so hard to believe he's now a 2nd grader!
