Who is that taking the picture, I wonder. Did he think she could swim? Had she told him this was where she sat during her lifeguard duties? And what's that hanging down from her blouse? A ribbon? Did she tell him she had won 1st place in a swim meet?
I guess maybe she was hoping she'd learn to swim by osmosis?
Maybe she was just dreaming!

Sweetie. I love it. You are so much like your dad. He always came up wirh some of the cutiest things to write about when we would have parties. He would make each guest a note he had written for them and they would have to stand read them. It was so much fun. R.L. took the picture and that is a sun viser in my hand. What fun we had. Judy, I was mistaken in every way. The picture was taken at the Colonial Golf Tournament in Fort Worth with your dad taking the picture. The item around my neck is a special ticket that the sports writers and their spouses were given to get in free and to be able to use all the perks, such as food and entertainment.
