Marina

In July when the gang was here, Mom, Lindsey, the boys and I, took a trip to the marina.  We went for lunch...  Afterwards, we walked around looking at the boats and...

 ran around a little...

This is similar to a painting I did back in...think it was 2002...I did it for Gabe and named the boat in the foreground "The Emerson King"...this was years before (7 years) before Emerson King was born!
Mom has a copy of the painting hanging in her house...so I took a picture of it with her in the foreground.
As we were walking along the piers looking at boats, (Benjamin also liked looking at the steering wheels), Lindsey spotted this jelly fish in the water!
I took a little video of it...
We watched and watched and watched it.  Mom thought Lindsey was hurt when she first saw Lindsey laying on the pier...

 A baby jellyfish...
A sea lion...

We also had quite a show from the pelicans...dive bombing into the water.  Lunch was delicious...the weather turned out sunny...and we got to see some wildlife we usually never see...

A great afternoon!

It was a great afternoon. I do love boats and the sea. Maybe I was supposed to have been a mermaid. Love you, Mom
